The Pentek P1 replacement polypropylene filter for appliances over the counter or under-sink is a product specially designed to hold suspensions such as soil, sand, rust, sediment, micro-particles and other solid particles that may be in the water. This filter is the main and usually the first stage of filtration in any installation, as it effectively rids the water of solid particles such as sand and rust.
