The new top-upgrade German water filter replacement for Brita Maxtra combines the filtration technologies of the Maxtra (+) Plus model, Pure performance and Hard Water Expert offering a complete filtration effect and 50% more water softening effect compared to the old models.

The new version offers 50 extra liters of filtration compared to the old model (change every 4 weeks or 150 litres) and has three stage filtration.

• The water first enters the filter through an extremely fine mesh where it collects the coarse particles - sediments such as soil, mud, stones, rust, etc.
• Then the upgraded ion exchange technology of the Limescale Expert model softens the water by 50% compared to previous models, protecting your devices and reducing metals such as lead and copper.
• Finally, the water passes through a filter made of vegetable activated carbon from coconut shell where it reduces chlorine, filters substances that affect the taste of the water, removes traces of impurities such as certain herbicides, pesticides and pharmaceuticals.
