Its smart sensor not only measures the time since the last water filter replacement, but also records the volume of filtered water. Before using the jug for the first time (and after each time you change the water filter), press the Reset button on the BRITA Smart Light for about 5 – 10 seconds until the LED indicator flashes green three times.

Brita Maxtra+ PRO All-in-1 Filtration System

The new top – upgraded German water filter replacement for Brita Maxtra cans combines the filtration technologies of the Maxtra model (+) Plus, Pure performance and Hard Water Expert offering a complete result of water filtration and softening.

The new version offers 50 extra liters of filtration compared to the old model (change every 4 weeks or 150 litres) and features four stage filtration.

• The water first enters the filter through an extremely fine mesh where it collects the coarse particles - sediments such as soil, mud, stones, rust, etc.
• The water then passes through a filter made of vegetable activated carbon from a coconut shell where it reduces chlorine, filters out substances that affect the taste of the water, removes traces of impurities such as certain herbicides, pesticides and pharmaceuticals.
